Our jungle lodge is only two and one half miles outside of Puerto Jimenez on the Osa Peninsula. The Black Turtle Lodge is a beach hotel located across from Golfito on the western beach of the Gulfo Dulce. We are the perfect lodge for honeymooners, couples, and family vacations. There is a comfortable queen and single bed in the upstairs room and two single beds or one queen sized bed in the garden rooms. Your tree house overlooks the entire property and gardens, which have been planted with over 4000 specimens of tropical plants and flowers.

Orbitz seems to consistently have the least expensive fares to Costa Rica. There are several airlines that fly to Costa Rica: American, American West, Delta, Continental, United, Taca, and others.

Fly SFO (or any major US City) to San Jose, Costa Rica. From San Jose take one of the Costa Rican airlines, either Nature Air or Sansa Air from San Jose, Costa Rica to Puerto Jimenez. (www.flysansa.com or www.natureair.com)
Note: These airlines fly daily from 6:15am - 3:40pm so plan your international flight accordingly.

The Black Turtle lodge will pick you up at the Puerto Jimenez Airport and will provide transportation to the airport when you depart. Arrangements for transportation must be made in advance with the lodge. Approximate cost for round trip air for one person from SFO to San Jose, Costa Rica is $660.00.
